Viresh friend of Lakshya real name Abhishek Chauhan is from my home town.  He comes from Janusari tribal community, same as Jubin Nautiyal whose father is a BJP politician here and also contested Chakrata assembly election last time thought lost to a generational Jaunsari Congress leader.

Watch it in Tamil with subtitles. Started with Hinthi and it was way off.

Anurag the director has declined, even in personal life he is becoming more like his mentor RGV.

 

Maybe he should explore the actor in him more.

He's acted in past too. Quite good, usually directors are able to act decently, just like music composers sing decently.

Hindi dub of Maharaja is bad. Better to watch in original language with subtitles, also gives the feel of Chennai that way.

Anweshippin Kandethum : Decent one time watch.

 

Dhokha (2022). Watched it due to Madhavan. Again good one time watch. Twists are expected perhaps excluding the final one.

Watched Aadujeevitham. Fact that it is a true story makes it a very hard hitting survival movie.

Stree 2. Has a very good balance in mixing comic timings with some edge of the seat horror scenes. All 4 male actors were in their top form in comic scenes.

They overdid some of it in last 10 minutes but other than that it was quite engaging and super funny.

Kalki Hindi on Netflix. Not a bad watch , 3 *s only. Good action and story in general, XFX not Hollywoodish, but best so far in Indian movies with all Indian jugaad. 
 

Disapponted with Hindi dialogues.  Sometimes it was cringe ultra max. They were almost like aadipurush level. They were devoid of any Sanskrit shlokas with so much references to Hindu scriptures. They deceived audiences on its take on Hindu philosophy and in their world in 2898, there is no Hinduism left.  People were like Buddhists and there is no mention of Vishnu throughout the script. Kalki is like a Jesus or a prophet nor  connected to Hinduism at all. . Botched up the Yuga math as well, yugas are not 6000 years apart.  Except for Prabhas everyone acted well. Esp AB was super good, his best in recent times . Felt like slapping Prabhas at times.
