How does it make sense? The thetre admin should be held responsible for the actor. This is just gimmickry to get publicity to the movie. Don't understand why as it is already declared a hit. Or is it some political vendatta. Either way, it is an unfortunate incide when human life is lost.

This arrest has nothing to do with the stampede. Telugu cinema has found great patronage under TDPs rule in the United Andhra Pradesh and is continuing again under KCRs rule in Telangana which helps them politically. Prior to this even Nagarjunas function hall was demolished for illegal encroachment by the current government.

 

This is CM Revanth Reddys idea of keeping the Telugu film fraternity under check and to send them a message from taking sides.

Will look into it but am not sure if I watched too many 2024 Indian films … From the top of the mind recall, I watched Maharaja on Netflix, and maybe a couple like the recent Pushpa 2 in cinemas. 
 

If re-releases count, I am currently watching RK films in cinemas at the Raj Kapoor film festival (Reviewing

/rating them on the “cinema” thread).

Saw Revanth Reddy interview impressed overall.

 

I don't think actor is completely at fault but as a society we need to set a example.

Revanth Reddy is hell bent on destroying the cash cow of Telangana i.e. Hyderabad.
Road conditions are getting worsened, traffic is getting severe and there is literally zero improvement in expansion of roads.
On top of that, he cancelled the metro project connecting the Hitech City to Airport. He is more interested in taking metro through old city, which apprently is stuck in 1960's refusing to move ahead.

Hero worshipping is bad, but Revanth ain't doing any bright acts either. KTR was way more visionary than him.

Manjummel Boys and Maharaja too deserves the applause.
Bollywood in general had a very lacklusture year, except Srikanth didn't enjoy many movies.

I cannot believe what I am seeing from Pushpa 2.Dubbing movie might endup with biggest box office earner in bollywood's history.

 

If he got national award from Pushpa 1 then he should get that award again for this movie. He has excelled in this role.I cannot imagine anyone else doing this role better than him.

AA de-glammed into a telugu working class laborer vibes.  He always used to say in telugu interviews - "I want to take commercial cinema to another level". He literally did it.

Even tier 2 telugu stars would not do that. Except the tamil stars like Dhanush, I do not find any class A Star ready to do such roles.

He has grown organically thruout his career.For a comedian's grandson to shakeoff his grandfather's image was his biggest hurdle.

 

Unlike Prabhas who can do only limited roles.This guy can play any role and he is a very good actor plus him being a great dancer does hurt him at all.He is better dancer than any bollywood actor.

 

He is a self made actor even though he is from industry.

Indeed...Allu Arjun is a very good actor. I always consider comic acting as the toughest form, and he is quite good at that.
Ramcharan, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas all struggle in comedy (Jr NTR is somewhat tolerable).

So true.Ramcharan is nepokid plus he has to thank Rajamouli for his career. I don’t rate him at all.

 

Jr NTR is distant second in the group.

 

Mahesh and Prabhas are limited actors.They need good directors and content to make them look good.

AA has ability to do any role under any director and make it work.

There are some movies which can be bad but are mildly entertaining. This guy bad at all levels. Surya seriously must have been high when he chose this movie.
