maniac Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Watched Pushpa 2 finally over 1 week. Not my kind of movie but timepass.
coffee_rules Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Had self-banned watching Pataal Lik for its propagandist maternal. Watched season 1, it was not that bad. They have edited out some objectionable scenes. It was an engaging watch. Much better than Mirzapur S2. Next watching S2 Pataal lok. The beef incident that happened in a train in India , which was a fight over a seat, was used in the story well.
vvvslaxman Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Watching a couple of series 1000 babies. There is one more on hotstar. Kobali or something. Not sure if it is anygood

vvvslaxman Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) watched a few real life documentary. There is the netflix documentary "Worst roommate ever". Man that is one scary roommate. Probably the scariest ever. Bone chilling. American tenant laws are real stupid. I know there was a movie Pacific heights that is similar to this. Hell of a movie. This tenant is 100 times worse Edited February 10 by vvvslaxman
coffee_rules Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Vidudalai 2 is an out and out Naxal supporting movie , unabashedly depicts the establishment is bad and naxals as more humans than the police. Naxal couple taking vows at Karl Marx and MC EVR photos. How is it the best movie of 2024. Only saving grace is maestro’s BGM . Awesome IR will give a run for his money to ARR even at this age.
kepler37b Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Watched this Telugu adaptation of Panchayat, Named sivarapalli Script writers failed to realize that an average Telangana village is more prosperous than a MP one Some stuff simply looks different from reality. And there is that mandatory service to Pheminism. All will be forgiven when you see the character of Sarpanch. Uncle nailed it. He deserves an award. Edited February 11 by kepler37b

bharathh Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Watched Mrs. What did you folks think? Do ppl think that families like the ones shown in the movie are still the majority or is this about trying to portray family life as the worst thing for today's women? That they can only truly be happy as career women having casual affairs and no marriage?

Civilization is all about sacrifices. The true happiness lies in the quality of our thoughts.

TVs and movies show all kind of topics, they show the superhero male beating up 1000 goons Then why don't you say - why are they portraying violence and we can be only happy after physically beating people? These are just escapist fantasies, why is it only when women are focus people start crying and whining and treat it as realistic instead of fiction for entertainment? Fantasies are things we dream of sometimes but never do in real life. Edited February 13 by New guy

And every country has always been conquered by patriarchy and every single country today is already patriarchal so no idea what that even means.
