One of the best. Wasted in Pushpa. Telugu industry gets all great talent from south India and spoils their credibility.

I have seen in him in 4 movies.

Pushpa1- He was good but not oh my good he is a great actor good.

Vikram- he was adequate. I can think of 20 people who could have played the role and have the same impact.

Super Deluxe- first film I saw of him where he played Samantha’s husband. He was again alright but wasn’t like he had some great performance. Vijay Sethupathi and the guy who played the cop stole the show.

Pushpa 2  - he was extremely irritating.

There is another movie I have been recommended- Avesham. However can’t get myself to watch it.

That is 2 Telugu and 2 Tamil movies.

what am I missing?

Did you see the twist coming in Khakee?

Did you see the twist coming in Gupt?

Did you see the twist coming in 100 days?

If the answer is yes, to even one of these questions, then you have my utmost respect and your value on the ICF posters stock index shoots right up.

100 days ruined in Hindi. Original Tamil was exceptionally well made. Better than the Italian version as Tamil had terrific music to go with.

I am into true crime shows suddenly. Watched an episode from snapped. This episode in particular. Married Pakistani muslim and unmarried indian Christian have a steamy affair and it led to deadly consequence.

Pakistani guy and his wide.

Watched Mrs. What did you folks think?

Do ppl think that families like the ones shown in the movie are still the majority or is this about trying to portray family life as the worst thing for today's women? That they can only truly be happy as career women having casual affairs and no marriage?

What a horrible movie - all male chars are bad, with closed mind, esp the groom’s relatives. Waste of time. These days girls are open about what they want in life before marriage, even in arranged marriages. This kind of binary thinking is what is toxic in society. This is a remake of a stupid Mallu movie, certainly inspired by some 60s feminist Hollywood movie. There is no redeeming factor in this movie.

So for some strange reason I kept thinking of movie zinda while watching maharaja. Now in zinda john tells sanjay that he sold his daughter which wasn't the case. I kept wondering what if setupati took care of kashyaps daughter after getting him arrested.

Haven't watched either of the two; zinda or maharaja. You will have to provide some context.

Watching Don't let go. Interesting plot. A cop guys brother, sister  in law, niece all get killed. Suddenly the cop gets a call from his niece (from 4 days back). Now the cop has to figure out a way to save her.

My mental piece was disturbed for a day after Old boy.  One of the all time classics.  Hollywood one didn't do justice to the original

That's like judging irfan khan or nasuredin shah for their commercial hollywood movies. Do you think spiderman or league of extraordinary gentlemen were their best work?

Even in commercial watch avesham to see how he is like a chameleon. Which actor does well in other languages movies anyways when they are known for their native language?

But from the movie it was obvious he never got him arrested? They never implied he got him arrested, kashyap just misunderstood as police arrived at the same time as maharaja

Do you also complain about movies like john wick, taken etc where women are useless and luggage and men are the heroes and best?

I don't understand when you guys know male oriented movie are just fantasy and wish fulfilment, why do you guys then write thesis on some random women targeted movie?

Pathetic double standards which stem from sexism. It's the female version of wish fulfilling fantasy just like any male action movie like animal or john wick or Taken are targeted towards men.

Not a direct comparison. I don't know of any movie where all women are shown as evil an torturous

They are escapist fiction made for entertainment. What kind of entertainment is Mrs for? Only masochists will get entertained by such atrocity porn movies. What did the director achieve by this story?  Dog-whistle about how Indian families are living insensitive about common women issues like menstrual periods. Hindus will make women starve on Karwa chauth  , make them cook tasty food while she is starving. And then the Bua comes and accuses her of eating food in private.  This is porn for people who fantasize about misery.

I appreciate women centric movies like Lapata ladies, etc where there are  some real and balanced chars, unlike total psychos on one side.
