Do you also complain about movies like john wick, taken etc where women are useless and luggage and men are the heroes and best?

I don't understand when you guys know male oriented movie are just fantasy and wish fulfilment, why do you guys then write thesis on some random women targeted movie?

Pathetic double standards which stem from sexism. It's the female version of wish fulfilling fantasy just like any male action movie like animal or john wick or Taken are targeted towards men.

Women are not useless in John Wick bro?? Chapter 2-3 are full of women doing action.

There is John Wick spinoff Ballerina starring Ana De Armas too

Watch the Korean movie with subtitles - Old Boy. Very dark and connected to this movie

Read the synopsis of these. Not the type I would enjoy.

Memories of Murder another classic.  Based on real life incident

The actual culprit looks the most probable one in movie too. For me, the screenplay was very relaxed.

"I saw the Devil" is a classic though. The emotional content is high.

Watched American Underdog - really loved the story. Movie was ok.

Baby John (remake of Theri) was ok as well. Jackie Shroff made a good villain. First time I've not been irritated by him.

Dhoom Dhaam - is an ok watch. Usually like Yami, but here she  is irritating, hammed her way and didn't come of well. It starts out well as a dark action comedy, but then they extend her character as a free-spirited, woke , feminist role justifying sleeping around before marriage, drinking alchol and gaalibaaz (not that there is anything wrong doing). Plus some secular elements and PETA promotion of Animals >>>>>> Humans etc. Avoid it , unless you like such content.

@Lone Wolf

Not trolling. I read the synopsis on IMDB. As a story it isn't even half as gripping as Johnny Gaddar, for example.

Movie is not a book to read synopsis and make a judgement! I know you are trolling. JG was good because of the temsion built up in the movie who watched it.

No. I am a bigoted hindutvavaadi patriarchal male chauvinist pig. I want injia to be 100 percent dharmic pop.

It's just that I am disgusted at modern  hindus having no shatrubodh and internal co-operation and no sense of shared fate.

I remember during 2002 our exams were postponed, I was so confused at what was happening and why are people killing each other ?

Growing up made me realize, what a hell hole Ahmedabad was. Anyone who grew up in Ahmedabad before 2000 knows what was the situation, as usual bollywood made a movie on Adbul Latif and glorified that SOB.

Bollywood looks like an extension of nachaniyas that entertained the Persian origin nobility during Mughal era.

Unrelated, but true detective first season is one of the greatest TV shows. Whatever Rust says is deeply unsettling. @coffee_rules @zen ...I hope you guys watched this.

True Detective S1, I have it as a part of my collection (though haven't watched it in a long time).
