DofTJ is not any OTT platform that I have bought. I will not buy Apple TV or anything new. How many should we keep buying? Whatever is there, will have to do within that. John Bernthal seems was born for that role, he has that no nonsense demeanor which you require fot such characters. I don't understand the Catholic logic of Daredevil, so that's a turnoff. But fight scenes and aerobics of Daredevil were very well written in Netflix version. Even the support characters like Elektra was good as well. Lone Wolf 1

The way the character of Mariko is shown saying .. "Let me commit suicide.." again and again and how she finally does it with the main character are all indicative of larger stupidity.

The movies failed because the movies sucked. Simple as that. The same movies of done well would succeed. Heck Deadpool was extremely woke yet was the biggest hit. So many homoerotic jokes, Deadpool literally drools at wolverine and gambit, a lesbian couple, a woman being main villain who wipes the floor with the men and rule them, the Deadpool army being ruled by lady Deadpool, Deadpool and wolverine being rescued by two woman and a black man, etc etc. It's the most woke of the post endgame movies.
