I ll to congratulate the true fans of KL Rahul @Gollum @Jimmy Cliff @Lannister @Ankit_sharma03, who were championing his cause even when he was a getting bowled consecutively in tests in 2018 and was dropped in the Asia Cup harshly.

Coz a batsman doesnt loose quality , bad form is a part of any cricketer career and Rahul hit a really low one......all i knw is post bad form comes good one.

  • In test he was told after being the best batsman in tough ind-aus series that he ll be sat for dhawan the failure so it cud put anyonje in doubt. Cricket is about having clear mindset . Later on white ball habbits and self doubts ruined him badly and was deservingly dropped but TM shud look at themselves as how it started. They have repeated this with pant and im backing pant to make everyone look like a fool in few years.
  • In LOI , a batsman of that quality and versatility shud have been a no.4 long go, always said he is a much better fit at 4 then kohli. He has that extra gear that yuvi, abdv, lara, viv, KP had which kohli doesnt. That extra gear allows u to score 25 extra in the end which kohli cant.

Time n again we see same things youngsters in pst like Zak,Rohit, yuvi all took their time yet we dont learn to be patient with them. People just wait here for someone to fail in one game to term it as hype. Now some here are saying kohli is finished as if ATG hasnt had a low in their life and made a comeback. A Cricket career is full of up n down.

Correction. In the 2017 SL series KLR was sent as #4 in only one of the 3 matches. Other two times he went in as #3 and #5.

Imagine the clownery of our TM. Gives a youngster just 3 chances in the MO, but even there sent in at 3 different positions in 3 innings. WTF!!!

What's even more bizarre @SK_IH, we played 5 ODIs in that series. First match we won by 9 wickets. But in other 4 matches we had 4 different players at #4:

2nd ODI: Jadhav at #4

3rd ODI: KLR at #4

4th ODI: Pandya at #4

5th ODI: Pandey at #4

All a build up to playing Pant at #4 in the WC SF :hysterical:

No wonder things turned out the way they did.

and right before that series in Pre press conf kohli said - KL is to good a batsman to sit out

imagine he didnt even trust his judgement for 3 games

How kohli mistreated him. A thread.

While it is entirely plausible that Kohli mistreated him, no discussion of KLR's career is complete without proper context provided for his injury prone initial years.  When someone is oft-injured, they unfortunately get to the back of the line.  Except Rahane, of course :-).

Pant wasn't even in original WC squad. He only came in one Shankar got injured.
