Yes, Bollywood is involved in making fun of Hindu Religion. 

 

And yes, Bollywood has not make fun of Islam.  

 

I openly admit that these are the double standards of Bollywood, when it comes to Hinduism and Islam.  

 

But still, I don't blame Bollywood to be a culprit.  Let me put the whole picture here and explain why Bollywood is not the culprit in my eyes. 

 

 

Present Day Hindu MINDSET:  Only Hinduism is the victim of attack by Bollywood

 

Real problem is this that this twitter handle is not an exception, but there is a whole MINDSET behind this idea that Bollywood only attacks Hinduism. But this assertion is not correct. 

 

Let us look at Hollywood. 

Religious Christians in Europe and US have been complaining that Hollywood only attacks upon Christianity/Judaism, and it does not attacks upon Islam or Hinduism or any other religion. In simple words, they have the same compaint against Hollywood, as the Hindus have against the Bollywood. 

 

But both the complaints by religious Christians/Jews and religious Hindus are wrong.

 

Both Hollywood and Bollywood did the things according to the Human Psyche. Yes, it is Human psyche to criticise and focus much more upon the background that he belongs too. 

 

For example, we Pakistani Freethinkers have facebook groups where we only write against Islam. Thus, Muslims heavily blame us that we are neither atheists nor freethinkers, while we criticise only Islam, and do not write against other religions. 

 

 

Bollywood has also promots Hinduism a lot:

 

This twitter handle and other religious Hindus only blame upon Bollywood for criticising Hinduism, but they forget to mention that this same Bollywood has also promoted Hinduism much more than Islam or any other religion. 

 

There are many Bollywood film, which start with some type of prise to Hindu gods.

 

In almost every Bollywood film we could see people visiting temples, or at least Hero or Heroine worshipping to any Hindu god. And then Hindu gods also hear their prayers and grant them their wishes, or defend them against the evils etc. 

 

For one PK film, there exist dozens of such films where Hindu gods are shown as reality, who hear the prays and grant the wishes, and enlighten the humanity etc. 

 

As compared to Hindu temples/Hindu gods in Bollywood films, one find hardly any film which shows Muslim Allah/Christian God or Masjids/Churches. 

 

 

Why Islam has not been criticised in Hollywood/Bollywood?

 

Normally Media does not criticise the "minorities" openly. It is also according to the Human psyche. Minorities are already weak and criticising them openly make them more vulnerable to humiliation. 

 

Ideally, it should be Lollywood (films produced in Lahore/Pakistan), which should have made fun of Islam. 

 

Actually, there is some trend towards it, but due to the extreme religious Muslim society, it becomes almost impossible for lollywood to criticise Islam. 

 

 

Banning Hollywood/Bollywood to criticise Christianity/Hinduism, is Unwise:

 

In my personal opinion, if religious Hindus want to praise their gods, and to preach their religion through Bollywood films, then they should have all the liberty to do so. 

 

Similarly, if India Atheists want to criticise the Hindu religion (or all religions), then he should also have full liberty to do so and make films like PK. 

 

And we must  destroy the Taboo of not criticising Islam. We must start critcising Islam/Muslim too directly. 

 

Unfortunately, things are going in the opposite directly, and religious Hindus and religious Christians/Jews now want to ban criticism upon their religions and follow the footsteps of Muslims. 

 

And Chinese Dictatorship should not be praised, but it should also be destroyed. This Chinese dictatorship will not only oppress Muslims and their culture, but if it gets a chance, then it will also oppress the Hindu culture and religion too.

Watched Mirzapur 2. There is one scene where akhanda Tripathis dad give lecture, “Caste system was created so that Brahmins can rule others”.

 

 

While Indians know that ruling class as per caste system is kshatriya but This false narrative will serve as soft message to non Indian and leftist propagandits globally That Brahmins are root cause of all problems in India.
