saged
In this cricket mad country with billions of dollars worth of investment and millions of choices it was decided these two people were the best we had for the most important LOI tournament. SK_IH
Please don't get us back to that world cup & especially that fateful match vs England. Both of them made a mockery of cricket that day & it was the day India's world cup campaign got derailed & baaki Virat tou tha hi. mishra
chewy
Odi is different ball game. India lost world Cup despite the billions in investment because even after 10 years of international cricket Rohit Sharma and Shikar Dhawan are as pathetic at playing swing when they debut for India. It's no surprise both openers are duds in Test cricket.

Lone Wolf
We know Thala would've played regardless.. That's what happens with superstar culture. Same will happen in 2023. Jadhav's spot was always questionable & dude always flied under the radar. Dudes like SKY, Rana even if we'd make their debuts in World Cups would've done a better job. That's how pathetic cricketer this guy was.

Stan AF
The conflicts of interests between IPL Captains and national selection spots are so obvious and as always in indian cricket it has gone under the radar. I'm willing to bet that this will continue and hamper indian chances at world cups even in this decade. express bowling and mishra
Stan AF
Any other international team dhoni would have been made to pack his bags after 2015 world cup. Atleast after the disastrous no show against zimbabwe in 2017 (what was it 54(114)???)or when he got booed twice in england in 2018 scoring at 60 strike rate. No wonder we got kicked out by a small island nation again in a world cup. express bowling, Laaloo and asterix

I'm no fan of Dhoni but the one responsible for getting kicked out of the World Cup is Kohli and the team management for backing the wrong people for the middle order and having no long term plan keeping the World Cup in mind. He tried out like 3 different players at the No. 4 spot IN THE WORLD CUP ITSELF. The batting order should have been settled months before the World Cup. It was a total disaster of a campaign. Someone needs to make a documentary on how bad they made a mess of the whole thing.
