Should go and be with his family for a couple of days at least, we don't need him in ODIs/T20s anyway.

RIP his dad.

RIP

He will have to quarantine in India too before he goes home. Not much use going after 14 days and then again quarantine on his way back.

A superb day for Siraj.  He was directly involved in 4 dismissals, none more key than nailing Labuschagne.  More than anything, he was strutting around the field with a smiling, quiet confidence.  Towards the end of the Aus innings, he was walking around with a special spring in his step, one that announced "I belong on this stage."

More power to the young man.  Indian fast bowling has an excellent legacy now - yes, there's no doubt - here's hoping that Siraj and other youngsters carry the Indian fast bowling torch for many years to come.

I feel for Siraj.

Sports are tough and people forget how difficult it is to make it to the top. Imagine not being able to attend your father's funeral because of an elusive opportunity you are getting. Kohli faced similar problem and now Siraj. Least we can do is respect everyone who makes it on merit in the team.

On top of that these guys are young. Siraj is 26.
