asterix
Bye Bye Mayank... Hope that’s the end of road. Pathetic player. Indwin and Frustrated 2 Link to comment
shortbread
Can Rohit open in his place? Simply having Rohit in the XI will be a big boost to team morale. Link to comment
Majestic
He deserves longer run. Rohit will come in place of Mayank next game and Kohli will come in place of Vihari next series. We might have just watched the last of Mayank in test cricket. He deserves a longer rope. Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
again today Last season - England wud be way way tougher then australia, this wont work in england Link to comment
Majestic
Shaw, Mayank, Gill, KL, Rohit all have problems with incoming deliveries. Dunno what we will do in England. Openers will be walking wickets. Link to comment
Vickydev
He struggles when ball moves away, he struggles when ball comes in...not the greatest against the short stuff either. But deadly against the spinners. No way should he be looked at as an opener. Must be a middle order option going forward. Link to comment

Last batsaman with reasonably decent technique we had was M Vijay who was way too consistent and defensive. But Agarwal has a lot more issue than others. Gill also got undone by a couple of incoming deliveries. Link to comment

Gill- ball coming back in but the bowler has to be really good Rohit- will mostly play loose shots himself Kohli- has an issue away but its something that can be controlled Pujara- incoming yes but away going not much Rahane- more of mental issue then technical Mayank looks weak both sides and its very obvious , short ball isnt a strong area for him which is for kohli, rohit, gill, rahane. So it's wrong to assume that he doesn't has Outside off stump problems. Gill plays with hard hands.. Jimmy will have a field day against him but should go for attack &, get some quick runs... Before they get him. Kohli has new incoming delivery problem that he brings his front pad too across to cover the swing... Happened in WC Semi & that 2nd inns Edgebaston test, seen In NZ too I guess. Outside off stump problem is nullified more or less. Link to comment
Trichromatic
Batsman scoring 2 double centuries at home was discarded for batsmen who can't score anywhere. How old is he? 32? Link to comment
