Serpico 821
Apparently Babar injured his thumb in net sessions and will not play the T20 series. Whatever chance Pak had to win the series is pretty much gone I guess. Let's see what Devon Conway can do
Cricketphile 44
If New Zealand beats Pakistan 2-0, then India needs to win 5 tests out of the remaining 8 tests (or win 4 and draw 3 atleast).

Gollum 25,284
Pak has quite a streak in southern hemisphere 0-14 in Aus 0-7 in RSA 0-2 in NZ 0-13 below equator (last time they escaped defeat was 2011 NZ under Misbah) Laaloo
Lone Wolf 849
If Pakistan can manage to win the toss in either of the test venues then they can cause an upset. 1st test venue may help them as well. In T20 NZ suck without Ferguson.. But Pakistani are weak too. 2-1 either way.

the don 114
Pakistan has a great record in nz. They have won 7 test series in kiwiland. India have won just 1 test in nz in the last 45 years. Won't be surprised if they pull of a surprise.

Can still happen, but I'll be surprised Edited December 16, 2020 by Serpico

Kiwis have been their favourite whipping boys for decades but The trend has changed since 2011 in all 3 formats. They have not beaten them in Tests both home & away since then. India has choked in the last 45 years in few tests there. Last tour we lost due to Captain Panauti losing crucial tosses again & again & no swing bowler. Pakistan has Abbas & Shaheen both move the ball so they can be a threat if they win the toss. Likes of Naseem & Musa will be carted around. Hit the deck bowlers don't work there. Norman 3,669
Full series sweep for Kiwis. Poyzz may have competed a little with Babar Azam but now without him , they'll be smashed back to their pinds.

That was a different era, Pakistan team was always better than Kiwi those days and had psychological edge . lately NZL team has been far better than Pakistan particularly in their own background. Now anything less 2-0 series win for NZL will be an upset. sandeep

Too many folks are assuming India will easily blank England 4-0 at home - that's not a given by any stretch. India need to do their damndest to defend BG trophy, else its chances of making the TC Final are kaput.

Now anything less 2-0 series win for NZL will be an upset. Pakistan enjoyed a first-movers advantage when it came to executing reverse - the heady results of the 90s owe a lot to this. I'm going to set aside the question of how much the ball was "worked on" or not. Once reverse swing became less a mystery and more of just another skill and bowling tool, Pakistani bowlers have consistently struggled to live up the "phaast bowling factory" mythology. That being said, a 120k guy like Abbas should be effective in NZ, and the rest are reasonably decent. But the batting - well, we all know what Pakistan batting is about these days - and with Babar Azam out injured.... RAZPOR
