I hear your points but it's still not a justification for them to not go by the rules that QLD have asked for. Remember the rules will be equally applied for their national team as well. We can have an opinion but to pressurize a stte government in a foreign country will have more negative repercussions specially in the backdrop of utter failure of our team management where 5 of our players had open dinner with fans. While BCCI may have some leverage with CA , it does not harm to know that they are a miniscule entity in front of a state administration.

The State admin agreed in the first place to host India in Brisbane (CA on its own wouldn't have decided it). During covid times, the easy excuse for BCCI would have been to cite safety concerns and not tour at all, which would have set the CA back by $300 mil and could have led to 100s of job losses in CA and state associations. Even now, the easier thing for us is to fly back citing covid concerns.

Remember, CA has moved BBL games out of Sydney/NSW today citing similar covid concerns, but we will be playing a full test  with 25% crowds in the stadium. All this somehow does not add up. A state govt. does not welcome Indian team, we should show them the middle finger and be upfront about it. If playing in Brisbane is a privilege, hosting a visiting team which is in your country despite covid should be respected as well.
