If at all the need arises, I would hope the team management has enough foresight to include Tyagi. They are losing nothing because the match is already lost with so many injuries.

Besides, team India has nothing to prove. They have already proved themselves to be a better side than Australia.

No ... Tyagi was sitting on the bench yesterday.

Don't know but have a feeling,If Tyagi debuts,he might have a great debut

Why? When you have a domestic veteran in Shardul, why you hand over the debut to Tyagi who has not done anything shattering in warmup matches?

There is a process, and you cant just break the process unless there is something exceptional.

Exactly for this reason I would include Tyagi. You have answered it yourself.

Want Tyagi to debut now as the 4th fast bowler.

Should not risk playing Bumrah and aggravating his injury.

We need 4 quicks now, with this inexperienced attack.

Tyagi has a tremendous bouncer ... accurate, very quick and nasty  ... He can remove the tail easily.

Saini, Siraj, Tyagi and Shardul should all play. Shardul at No.8.

Brisbane is fastest in Aus at the moment,so there is a reason

Given the rain forecast, young Tyagi will not have to cope with extremes of Test cricket that much

Tyagi bowled exceptionally in the 2nd innings of the 2nd practice match.

Pace, bounce, accuracy, nasty bouncers ... everything was there

Even a tough nut like Alan Border was very impressed.  And most Aussie commentators are still praising him including Warne.

He even hit Pucovski on the helmet and injured him.

We need an X-factor bowler like him to counter our loss of key personnel.

Shardul should play too.

Saini, Siraj, Tyagi, Shardul from 8 to 11.

4 quicks are needed as all are inexperienced and anyone can have a bad session.

OTOH, without much FC experience, if he has a poor debut, his career may forever be derailed. Plus it will send a very poor precedent. Handing him a debut ahead of Nattu (assuming Shardul is playing in place of Jadeja), with decent FC performances, will be inappropriate.
