Popular Post Ankit_sharma03
ig names doesnt mean Big result, My biggest problem with indian cricket was this while growing up. I was a massive fan of Aussie in 2000s while growing and i remember having discussion with friend whats the point of making player gods if u cant even have a winning team. But such is our culture thats its about heros but not the whole team. This series proved their is a hero in everyone Rahane- from being a butt of jokes to the man who turned the momentum of the series and extracted performances from each n everyone Pujara- avg 10 in 4th innings overseas before this, went on to play 2 extremely crucial knocks in 4th innings Gill- there were some who said he wasnt ready when he failed in his 1st 2 ODI games Pant- the kid has been trolled for what being the next guy to take Dhoni's position.....like srsly. Problem with hero worshipping just cant let them go...I heard a similar story of Gilly when he changed his FC side he was massively booed coz he replaced their hero until he started playing his shots. Thakur- height kum hai lekin fight nahin Sundar- t20 specialist who are often called bits n pieces , well bits n pieces if added together becomes a lot isnt it Siraj- lost his father before the series began didnt go back and fulfilled his dream , was massively trolled due to t20s Saini- Applaud that kid that atleast he stood in ground with injury bowled and fielded not worrying that it can inhance the injury and keep him out for long Nattu- god helped him with the luck, he repaid back with whatever best he cud in his ability Rohit- he didnt do badly at all, Rohit brings a certain comfort level in team and his slip catching was top notch Ashwin- from being called home track bully to this, having his batting on decline to play one of the most crucial knocks in Bumrah- Rabadda bowling has been decline ever since he is the lone ranger left which shows it isnt easy to carry a bowling unit on ur shoulder but he did pretty well and was always their for young kids Vihari- he may or may not play for India again or not have a long career but he will and shud always be remembered Jaddu- India's biggest investment and now tile for returns Saha- defending someone who is about to take ur place Edited January 19, 2021 by Ankit_sharma03 sorak, Vk1, FischerTal and 9 others 1 4 7 Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
My biggest criticism on kohli cpataincy has been his team managment is about 2-3 players be it RCB or Indian team, may he learn in a team u can even win with any player not just rohit, dhawan, abdv, gayle.....its about 11 ppl To kohli bhakt who says - "we lost those Wc games coz kohli didnt do well"......So what their are 11 players playing and extracting performance from them is captain's job Link to comment

kubrickian
Credit has to be given to Dravid too. He has been working with the under 19 players for a while and under him, lots of players have come out with the right temperament and fighting spirit. nevada and sorak 2 Link to comment

BCCI should give him a good monetary package and bonus and let him enjoy his life and still focusing on First class cricket which is where he belongs. Link to comment
nevada
Yes, we need to move away from star culture to team culture. The injuries have been a blessing in disguise or else we wouldn't have discovered so many clutch players who can hit the ground running. Siraj, Sundar, Thakur, Nattu and Gill would have been warming the bench if not for fate. Link to comment
