This series has to be rated number one. 36 all out plus so many injuries and best batsman and captain going home.Nothing beats it.

The sheer amount of odds against us would easily make this victory at the very top. One just need to look at the last team that won at Gabba and compare that 11 with ours. 

 

Also, many overseeing one important factor. We lost three tosses. For any Asian side thats domsday in sena. Chased in all 3 matches yet won 2 and drew 1.

He's right Oz were not favorites at the start of the series, at best they were even with us. It's only after Mumbai that they had been given much better odds.

Since I just joined and can't open a new thread, I had to post this in here.

 

As an Aussie I wanted to comment on an Indian forum and thank you guys for some great cricket over the last two months.

 

Even though you beat us, most Aussies are thankful to the Indian players for coming to Australia in the middle of a pandemic and putting on a Test series for the ages.

 

Even though we lost the series, we in Australia can see how great a performance it was from India, especially after the first Test where we bowled out you guys for 36.

 

Many of us cricket fans and sports fans in general in Australia are grateful to India for coming down here and playing exciting, brave cricket.

 

This series will go down as one of the best series of all time played in Australia.

Hey, thanks. Like I said in the other thread there's no other team we'd like to beat more than Oz, especially down under 

 

I dunno about you but Ind/Aus contest have been the most riveting for me post 2001, don't care about the Ashes - far too overrated IMO 

 

Except perhaps a few series here & there Ind/Aus has constantly produced some of the best cricketing moments in the last three decades!

India vs Australia 2021 is the best series I have ever watched since I started watching cricket in mid 90s. I don't even care about cricket that much anymore, I am not the passionate cricket fan like I use to be a few years ago but this series brought me back to cricket and revived my love for the game for a little while

I don't think it is recency bias. Getting 20 wickets with that inexperienced bowling attack is nothing but a miracle.
