Austin 3:!6
No century in any format for past 2 years. No signifcant knocks either. It is hardly a matter of time that his test avg goes below 50. The other 3 in so called fab 4 have surpassed him by long margin. Question of decline is out of window now. Real question is - at the age of 32, is he finished as a batsman? Depends, is he willing to let go of captaincy in any format? If not then yes - he'll probably have to retire by 2023. Now I'm saying he will have to - but we know the precedent set by Dhongi, so there's that. Austin 3:!6 1 Link to comment
Nikola
Not finished but need to stop playing paytm & panbahar series now and focus more on test cricket. No odi tournament for next 2 years so should skip those matches also give up captaincy in t20. rollingstoned 1 Link to comment

Austin 3:!6
agree.. giving up captaincy is the first stepKohli will never play as a player again. Too big a name to play under anyone. So he will remain captain till retirement. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Vk1, nevada and Rightarmfast 2 1 Link to comment

Norman
Is he really 32 i doubtThis. I had my doubts on how he looked like a shaved 22 year old in the 2008 u19 WC. His dip in form in the past two years has pretty much confirmed it. He atleast 35-36. That gray beard doesn't help too sorak and asterix 2 Link to comment

Clarke
Don't think he's finished, he'll be back among the runs. Dip in form, even longer duration affects most players. I'm talking in batting terms, captaincy is another realm. Cricketics 1 Link to comment
ash
He is not 'out of form'. Just needs a big innings, he has been playing good knocks in between. Every batsman goes through a slump so let's back him now. Link to comment
