Straight Drive
West Indies cricket has gone downhill for sure in test and ODI. West Indies team of 70's was the best test team in cricketing history. In cutrent test lineup there is no one who can be compared to Grenidge, Roy,Haynes, Viv, Lloyd, Kanhai, Kalicharan, and the pace superstars of that era. The quality of batting and bowling was at a different level in that WI team as compared to what they have today. It will be ridiculous to even compare. Lloyd won two consecutive ODI cups. The current WI team is struggling to make even playoffs. Link to comment
