Not in favor of this series. India is in a lose lose situation playing this series.

India is the better team and is supposed to win. If you win you get no credit as you were the better team and if you lose that is a big deal.

with the power packed ipl trained line up we have and if everyone is fit realistically we should win at least 2 out of 3 matches. We might lose 1 but that will be still fine as we would win the series

Individuals  involve in deals only  with those who have good relations with them not with backstabber evil minded traitors  who wait for  oppertunities to  destroy them. So is the case with nations too. Pakistan is a traitor nation . Never  have any relations with them.

Again.... it would be huge injustice to  our  soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the safety of our nation because of these traitors.

What the hell is 23rd March. These morons are making up days as they please or what. I have never heard about this nonsense 23rd March 1940 .

The bottle capper has so much hate for Hindus that he isn't even saying 23rd March is their National Day as on that day Pakistan officially became Islamic Republic of Pakistan in 1956

Other than fricking Jinnah and his cronies, I doubt majority of muslims in India were not even thinking about anything else other than freedom in 1940.Now these guys are fricking making all about religion and brining hindutva just to gain publicity.

I think India wins all three with the first one being close but that does nothing for India. India should not play this series. Australia is India's rival not Pakistan.

Yaum-e-Pakistan) or Pakistan Resolution Day, also Republic Day, is a national  .holiday in Pakistan commemorating the Lahore Resolution passed on 23 March 1940 and the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 23 March 1956

this is dumb. we started playing cricket with England immediately after independence, many millions of freedom fighters and civilians lost their lives fighting against them. Playing cricket doesn't demean people's sacrifices of the past. Besides, the soldiers probably enjoy the cricket matches too

But Terrorism & proxy war is not on.  Freedom struggle is a different matter. Lots & lots of Indians fought for British in World War.  Even soldiers dying in War is understandable but Terrorism & Sports cannot run side by side.  I am not in favor of trade relations as well as it falls in same Category but GOI has other ideas.

Which other country has bilateral people to people exchange and sports relations with another nation which is at constant war with it?

Apples and oranges.

Post 1947 England didn't wage a proxy war  against us or try to sabotage communal harmony in India. Neither did it support any militant secessionist movements or harbor India's most wanted terrorists. The list could go on..

yeah all that is fine, but England wasn't sending in murderers to kill Indians after independence.  If Pakistani policy towards India turns benign, permanently and irreversibly, I'd love for 'normalcy' to resume with them.  Have zero, absolutely zero 'hate' for Pakistanis in that sense.  They are just regular people after all.  But its the Pakistani "state" - dominated and controlled by their corrupt "military" that I detest.  And until those corrupt criminals remain the beneficiaries - direct ones, over and above the average Pakistani - there is absolutely no way this sort of haste in resumption of bilateral cricket can gain my support.

We are making the same mistake again. Also its weird how the party which chest thumps the most about patriotism and teaching Pak a lesson is the one which always caves in - from Kandhar to Kargil (then also it was Aman ki Asha and cricket matches) to now, its always one party which gives in. How many times do we need to be back stabbed to learn a lesson?

This series isn't happening. It's fake news peddled by a section of Pak media. There's not a whisper from BCCI on this.
