rollingstoned Posted March 30, 2021 Share Posted March 30, 2021 I have felt since 2018 that he has not been used properly by the tm because with those new ball skills he is a must in places like england and new zealand, his batting ability also a welcome bonus which shortens our tail. However before that tour began properly he got injured playing JAMODIs and has since been in and out of the team while being shoehorned as a LOI specialist which he isn't imo. This rubbish team selection was apparent in Saf too when he was finally picked in the last game. it is a testament to his skill that he has taken to the shorter formats of the game well and added strings to his bow like the knuckle balls while also improving his average speed. If he can remain fit we can do a lot worse than having him around for the test matches in Eengland by the time June rolls around but he will need some match fitness to last 5 days. Link to comment
