Tendulkar is way ahead of anyone else in my book.

That perfect stance, head position, how his bat came down straight, that silken timing, the poise ...

Tendulkar's batting was art in motion.

In Technique possibly Tendulkar is best ever. However technique and grace or style are  not the same.Technical perfection is not artistry.

I am talking about artistry only

Tendulkar's batting looks most artistic to me among all batsmen I have ever seen. And it is not modern art but classic art.

When it comes to batting aesthetics, I am partial to economy of movement. Only so much of foot movement, back lift, bat swing etc that is needed to get the job done. So, Sachin it is for me. His checked straight and on drives were workshopped to perfection.

So true. I watched the Tendulkar Lee videos many times. Never tire of watching those drives.
