tendulkar against australia in 2007

153 and 154 in sydney and adelaide. Another 70 odd and 90 in melbourne and perth

laxman 93 inperth and 100 something in sydney.

Sehwag 150 in the only test in adelaide where he was picked

Sehwag played in Perth and made a 50. Even took wickets

Gillespie, Lee, McGill were not popgun attack. Just not on the level of mcwarne. In fact Gillespie was in top 5 rankings at the time

They didn't even play together in first 3 tests.

Gillespie, Bracken, Bichel, McGill, Waugh - that's avg bowling attack especially on flat decks.

That was popgun bowling attack.

not a popgun attack by any means, they were very good just that on that tour gillespie was having issues with his wrist position and lee was coming back from injury. India was always played spin well so mcgill nyways wasnt going to be that effective

Which other team?

That popgun attack won 3 test in wi ( 4 test series).mcgrath played in last 2 test but didn’t take single wicket in 3rd test so basically aus won first 3 test with this popgun attack. Plz don’t tell wi was poor team, they had gun batting unit ( lara, chandra, gayle & sarwan).

Please don't tell me it was same attack.

First 2 tests - it was Lee, Gillespie and McGill, and last 2 tests had McGrath included.

Lee didn't even play first 3 tests. Even India lost 3rd test and saved 1st test only because of rain even with weaker attack.

Lee played 3rd & 4th test against india

& his bowling figures against us

3rd test - 27 over 103 run 2 wk
                  22 over 97 run 2wk

4th test.  39 over 203 run 4 wk
                  12 over 75 run 0 wk

total 100 over 478 run 8 wk

lee was lucky to didn’t play full series otherwise india would have trashed him .
