Honestly it has got way worse last few years. Even 3-4 years back any genuine quick with potential was always at least given some game time in the ipl. It’s sickening to watch lately.
The usual suspects like the Chahar, Kumars, Sharma’s etc are treated as if these geniuses are some major stakeholders for their respective sides. Also, I can’t think of a nation that’s so averse to quick bowling than India.

Right just look at people attacking Harshit Rana in his comment section on IG...

Indians have no concept of sporting culture.  State of Fans in this country is down in the dumps.

Saddest part is, our coaches and captains are ready to play foreign fast bowlers who are under 25 years of age. MI has even onboarded Mphaka who just playing U19 WC.

But except Harshit, I don't find any young Indian bowler playing for any IPL team. Hangargerakr, Tyagi, Sushant, Mayank all are laying eggs on the bench.

And then our coach will say, where are the fast bowlers.

Coaches here too. Guys like Adamant and a few others will say where are they lol. They never get chances cause or your moron trundlers. How will they play then?

It's not even about IPL. Genuine young quicks being kept out of the IPL is probably in their best interest .

But the point is I don't see them anywhere.  That ODI tour of SA was the perfect time to groom a few quicks .

But we keep going back to the same old players.

Even in the Test series against England, they could have easily played Akashdeep in the final Test ahead of Siraj.

Especially since we had already won the series and he had outbowled Siraj in the previous match

From why Ind can not produce Fast bowlers to why cant they give them games.

The first statement is bogus there were fast bowler time to time but not given chances and side lined for others. We are seeing the same thing if there were no speedometers you wont know there are 4/5 145+ kmph bowler who are not getting chances and large majority they would think Ind team right now does not have faster bowler as team is only preferring sub 140 kmph.

Why cant Ind team give chances to faster bowlers- Its totally flawed mindset, faster bowlers go for runs, edges flies, faster u  bowl faster u go, etc...

With all the flaws in Kolhi's captaincy he was clear about making a world class bowling attack which he did, Ind had the best bowling line-up and best bench to follow.

Right now Ind only left with 2 bowlers ... owing to shortsightedness lack of planning and picking low potential bowlers.

Ipl should not be blamed, its a business if the end user would like certain thing business would prefer to supply those things to maximize profits. Here product is kind of bowlers Ind team(end user) is looking for (Sub 140 steady bowlers) hence IPL team are getting more of those kind of bowlers so that they can make it into Ind side and the brand value can be increased for the Franchises.

When there was Umran wave every IPL team wanted to have some kind of Ind speedstart even going to the length of picking some1 from trails (Avinash --RCB).

Its simple for IPL Franchises more Ind intnl more chances to win IPL, larger fan base, more sponsor etc.

If there is some1 bowling fast they brand them as Still-Raw , if some1 is as good/bad bad but bowls below 140 kmph they are not branded as still-raw.

Only in Tests, he still had the same one dimensional bowling attack in LOI's. Not sure if it was Dhoni effect.

Exceptional batting they call, when a batter smashes a trundler.

If 140k bowler is smashed, he is brainless and erratic.

These people in the know of things are either quite naive or simply deliberate ignorant

They can debut an u19 bot use their bench when the first choice bowlers(trundlers , supposedly swing sultans)got hit left right and center

That is why I seriously believe these guys should look for opportunities in SENA countries even BD can be a good place for they have developed a new culture of prioritising their pace attack for the benefit of their cricket in the longer run, kudos to BD cricket rulers

MI is giving debut to Mphaka today. No Akash Madhwal.

SRH is playing legendary Jaydev Unadkut. No Umran Malik.

Madhwal was exceptional last year,no reason to bench him

Is this a certain ploy implemented by few to stop the focus being shifted to newcomers from the regular senior ones

Make no mistake Boobie may well board the plane to USA to screw us one more time ,he was in the reckoning recently

These cunning foreigners doing perfect job to introduce their newcomers to acclimatize with Indian conditions and high octane atmosphere while our Jaischands keep putting them down by mocking their pace and batting

These motherchords never ever endorse newcomers ,they despise them.we have them here as well

All they do is lick arses of their masters
