( then make those best bowlers improve their batting by practicing ) Allrounders from 6 to 8 are more than enough If it still isn't enough then it means we are choosing poor batsmen based on past reputations and a bowler's slot is being used to basically supplement that weak batsman or batsmen. Why are you surprised ? In the SA test series earlier this year, we played 7. Ashwin / Jadeja 8. Shardul 9. Shami 10. Bumrah 11.
