He always had wheels but like Thakur whom he resembles a lot, the batsman doesn't seem rushed even when he is bowling 147kph.

Actually he did induced some false shots...one which he bowled to Saha came quicker than what he expected..but gone for six.

Another one he bowled to Gill which was an inswinger...and Gill was late to his short arm jab.

He was sharp earlier when he played few games for DC, but after he joined CSK last year he was trundling at 128-130 and was looking bit overweight. This year he again has slimmed down a bit and that's evident with increase in pace.

That is because he is epitome of "which length not to bowl" thing

The shorter you bowl ,easier it's for batsmen, doesn't matter you bowl >145 <150+

To make it count ,atleast once out of many short deliveries you need to be in 150+ territory which he's not

Hangargekar bowled with decent speeds early on ~142 max I think. Slowed down later on.
But his run-up just seems way too complicated for no real reason. I'm sure his pace can improve (like ~3-5k, not express based on first impressions) if he just corrects that. Bishop pointed that out too.

He is just 20. Bumrah was similar at 20. He will get quicker. He also runs in very much like Bumrah. But he hurries the batters even at 136 on speedometer.

Tushar was coming back from an injury lay off last year.

Only 20 % of pace deliveries are 140 kph + in IPL. Considering that a lot of high pace deliveries are delivered by foreign bowlers , the % of high pace deliveries bowled by Indian bowlers is probably way lower as well.

On the other hand,  around 40 % of deliveries are 135 + so we should not have any excuses for not producing a high quality fast medium attack if not a genuine pace attack.

We don't play genuine pacers often..likes of Sandeep Sharma, Unadkut, Bhuvi and Sid Kaul have played a lot..it's only from last season when we're seeing some quick pacers getting selected for the IPL teams...all courtesy of Umran I guess.

Many of them are injured,Tyagi injured or not injured is perennially benched

Deshpande was quick yesterday,3-4 seasons back Saini was ripping speed guns consistently as was Mavi, they will come and some will go

Guys is Tyagi ever going to be fit??

Is he expected to play this season? What’s his main injury.. something chronic or is it a series of different ones. Couldn’t get any info on google.

He is playing bhai...SRH published their practice match videos on YouTube and he is bowling there.
