Pant

Gill

Kohli

Pujara

That's definitely a great batting unit. Gill just doesn't have a name yet. Kohli and ouji ar ATGa and pant is almost there already. He is a better matchwinner than any of our overrated predecessors.

Our bowling attack overall is the best in the world. Not to mention we have batting depth with the addition of Sundar who has better technique vs pace and spin than many of our overrated greats too. Vihari is another underrated player with height ceiling.

Bhai problem is that we have good prospects but they need some time similarly Pujji and Kohli aren't the force that they used to be, so on paper our lineup looks good but actually the peaks of players are not really in sync.

Same with most great teams bro.

Take staffers of 2007-2014.

With Steyn they win alot. Without Steyn they are in trouble.

Kalis wasn't in his prime post 2011.

Smith ab wasn't in his peak before 2011. He had some good performances but he opened alot.

Then they had some players like rudoplph, Ashwell prince etc who peaked before 2010.

Its a silly statement

So many of the younger guys, or newer guys have literally played a handful of LOIs. Sure SKY, Krunal, Kishan have made good starts to their careers: but that is all it is, STARTS.

The Aussies of the late 90's to early noughties could almost field a 2nd XI good enough to beat most Int'l sides, even in test cricket. We certainly dont have that depth in tests, and in LOIs we dont know nearly enough about the newer guys yet!

We do. We won't know unless we play them. we do have depth. Most of our ranji teams would wallop all Internarional teams at home.

They just don't get game time because there is too much competition and also our dunderhead dumvass captain doesn know how to nurture talent or purposely aims to inhibit their progress.

I feel like there is bit of a contradiction in what youre saying: we cant be so sure that there is that depth, if as you say we dont know how good they are having not seen them play against international sides ; on which I agree there are a few players who should have had more opportunities.

Not a few. Alot. But kaptaan is dumb and inept. We all know that. Plus it would affect his image as he won't be the star anymore. We all know how this sooperstar mega money stream works.

Australia have a superb school system. They invest heavily in sports and it pays off. Kids in Australia have a choice to play rugby AFL or cricket.

India don't have such facilities. The day India's infrastructure and facilities reach elite level then it's goodbye to everyone. India decides whether it wants to have fun or win or play 2 teams etc.

I already see India doing well in hockey with not much financial aid. Number 3 now. They are also great in wrestling.
