He won't get Harshal Patel in international cricket.

Agreed but I have seen him smash Starc in last over in Aus this year. There is definite improvement in hitting but his intent is still ordinary.

Let's say someone like Moeen Ali had perfect intent in their side, never ever values his wicket & goes for those cameos. Same is expected from Jadeja but that's missing.

Thats why he struggled at 7 and only made runs when he had 15-20 overs in odi and 7-8 in t20. Its just not his strength to go from ball -1. When ever he tries he goes extra hard loosing his body balance, bat shape...at that time he actually looks like a tail ender slogging. Moeen , curran both never looses that from ball -1 , so they are better if u want someone to hit from ball 1.

But yea he is in some great patch or peak that he is doing most things right and for sure batting improvement hai

He has limitations. I don't disagree. When right hand seamer angles the ball across on a length he struggles a bit. Also short ball. But he has developed his attitude.  He can still be a villain with bat from time to time. We have to accept that.

BATTING   R B 4s 6s SR
Ruturaj Gaikwad  c HH Pandya b Boult 4 4 1 0 100.00
Faf du Plessis  c Bumrah b Pollard 50 28 2 4 178.57
Moeen Ali  c †de Kock b Bumrah 58 36 5 5 161.11
Suresh Raina  c KH Pandya b Pollard 2 4 0 0 50.00
Ambati Rayudu  not out 72 27 4 7 266.66
Ravindra Jadeja  not out 22 22 2 0 100.00

Stats padding (not out to pump up the avg) by Jadeja, when likes of Curran are still to bat

Jadeja's stat padding exercise cost CSK the game, who could have hit 250 ... Which is why I am hesitant to play such players in an 11 esp. for imp tournament no matter how good their "stats" look

Match 6 :

22 runs of 22 balls. Potential match losing innings, going at just run a ball after such a strong start. He has very limited options, which exposes him time & again.

What was even more pathetic was that he declined at least two extra runs that could have put rayadu on strike. So selfish

2 wickets now

dont think there is any doubt that he is number 1 spin allrounder

@Ankit_sharma03 will still say krunal is better for T20 but he also battles for Dube

Aaj nahin karega tag ??? Ek game men agar dimaag itna ghoom jata hai to dusre men bhi ghoomna chahiye na

As I said at best a supporting act and not a match winner. This was the situation to play a blinder. Dwayne Bravo is the kind of allrounder we need in T20s not Jadeja

He blows hot & cold too often. He has supposedly improved as a batsman but still there is inherent style of ODI batsmanship & that's disastrous in T20s
