Here are my picks (in no particular order) and the attribute I saw in them

Venkatesh Iyer - presence

DDP -  lazy elegance (yes I know he played one poor knock but cut him some slack)

Tyagi - real deal

Umran - phaaasht

Arshdeep- heartwarming and inspirational

Mavi- the next Umesh/ Shami

Bishnoi- will not have a long career but will have an impactful short career somewhere between Mendis and Kuldeep Yadav

Abhishek Sharma- this kid is a star

Jaiswal- I am so proud for backing this kid since u-19 and sticking with him despite mediocre returns in his first IPL. Torchbearer of Indian batting :isalute:

Rayudu- got to appreciate his mental strength. Shortchanged in World Cup, drama with retiring/unretiring but the guy keeps scoring runs and in a very unselfish way too. He is my veteran pick who impressed me

Impressed by our bowling stocks in t20 cricket now which was a problem for many yrs

  • Arshdeep
  • Malik
  • Avesh
  • Siraj
  • Tyagi
  • Mavi (always like him)
  • Bishnoi (teams still hasnt worked him out so means kid has more to him)
  • Harshal- i love his slower one (the dip it gets , so bravo like)`
  • Varun.C

Variety is very important in t20 and now we have it

Harshal lol, also I like Avesh but something about him that doesn’t pass the eye test. Hope I am wrong . Apart from that agreed.

He is chubby and fat and that bothers me. Once he gets in shape he will be a beast. ..don't like fat athletes. Or skinny scrawny athletes.

Off course the obvious candidates have already been listed but Bhrarat has really been impressive so far, was considered to be a test specialist and no one expected him to do well, but now seems to be carrying RCB batting along with Maxwell

Bharat over Saha anyday of the week..  And it should not be even a debate now.

Kkr in general have turned it around well after the resumption and Mccullum mentioning how they expect the top and MO to show more intent. This has reflected in a guy who i thought wasn't suited to this form of the game having had a decent tournament in Gill. Jaiswal had a meh ipl last year after he was the talk of the town in the u19 wc, he has also shown a good deal of improvement this year.

Pretty much everyone who did well with the ball previous season also did well this year.
