Shubman Gill likely to be ruled out of the first Test against England due to injury, TM wants BCCI to send shaw to England

Recommended Posts

There is a thing called playing safe and going by statistics.. Shaw has an average of 42 in tests, 52 in first class and 58 in list A. That’s better than many in current scenario.. hence he has been called or will be called..

If Shaw fires in SL, more headache for Kohli and our top 3 in general. They are barely able to hold on to their spots, in T20 Kohli has done so many 180s just to keep these youngsters out, when public sees what Shaw is capable of doing they may start questioning Kohli's place for the upcoming T20 WC. Pure evil this captain of ours, holding Indian cricket hostage since the day he took over. We will be better served without Kohli in all formats, he is dragging us down. BCCI should grow a spine and ask Kohli to STFU.

What exactly will we lose by cutting out dictator Kohli from Indian cricket?

Statistically the worst #4 in world cricket in tests for over 2 years now, useless runs in white ball formats

Choker of the century

G@ndu fielder/catcher

Can't bowl except in BCCI.tv 15 sec specials

Zero leadership skills, all round negativity, no plan/vision, awful on-field tactics/strategy

Sacrificing future of Indian cricket to keep him and his buddies out of firing line

Plays politics even with other seniors to maintain hierarchy

Yes man culture in the dressing room, bootlicking over ability/performance

Crass behavior, brings dignity of Indian skipper position to disrepute with his monkey antics

Doesn't give a * about ICC tournaments and major away series

1001 excuses to defend shambolic surrenders in big games, peak shamelessness

Doesn't even try to improve, correct wrongs after big setbacks

Can't even win tosses, forget important matches, panauti #1

Aus 2020-21 was proof enough that we don't need a toxic character like Kohli to achieve greatness.

I like him and don't really want him dropped. But he is out due to injury. cant do much.

It is true that he has not played well since the Aussie tour.. not just the runs, he just has not looked the same. Prithvi shaw was dropped for less.

GILL - 7 low scores after a 50

SHAW - 3 low scores after a 50

Overall Shaw has better Average, Strike rate and already scored a hundred.

I do like them both but just pointing out. Everyone struggled in NZ and Shaw was dropped after one bad game in Australia.  Again not saying Gill should not get more chances. He definitely should get the long rope.

Does Shaw have the technique to play lateral movement?

Shaw, Padikkal will be forced to miss the SL series, will fly to Eng, do quarantine again and sit on their backsides for next 2 months playing ludo against each other. Kohli is a pathetic disgrace of a human being. Unlimited power to the clown is screwing us over again and again.

I see a a slight glimmer of hope. BCCI not considering their request raised on 28th June so far is hopefully the start of BCCI throwing the rulebook at the clown-loudmouth combo.

Will wait to see how this unfolds. A lot in the future could depend on the outcomes of how BCCI handles this

Excellent. A ray of hope. Could be momentary but good to see someone standing up to the dictatorship. Hopefully Chetan Sharma gets Ganguly's support as well.

I'm 100% sure, Kohli will run to Amit Shah to have his way. Will watch out for some media stint by his omnipresent PR wallahs.
