People keep forgetting that Bhuvi is not the bowler he once used to be. He is no longer a swing bowler. He is more of a seam bowler who bowls back of a length. You can see his average and SR that he is no longer a test class bowler even in England.

I call this the Irfan Pathan syndrome. People tend to remember someone who once did well and think he should be brought back thinking he is still just as good.

He was swinging it miles on the 30th over with a white kookaboora in the odis. Did you see how he set up roy then moeen ali.. his issue is his fitness not loss of swing which had struck pathan..

kohli wants to secure dhawan place in t20 , hence wants saw in eng to warm the bench.

Both his Delhi buddies Ishant & Dhawan are safe I think.

Ishant with his 128 kph thunderbolts is ready to torment us in England.

Dhawan will torture us in WT20 like he has done before again n again.

If it's official then why is it not on BCCI twitter feed? Also surprised Cricinfo has no content on this.

Back channels negotiations with the BCCI leadership. Jay Shah can't take decisions on his own, his dad, the real boss of BCCI, is busy with cabinet reshuffle.

He has his sights set on 200th test with the encouragement of his clown captain. Will be amazing if he ends up with 450 wickets at 40 average

If Ishant can cross Kapil Paaji of 434 test wickets with an average of around 35 by the time he hangs his boots, he will be hell lot satisfied with his career. And honestly, no Indian pace bowler touched that 450 test wicket mark ever and that will be a great achievement for Ishant. Hopefully, he does that within 130ish test matches.
