Mayank Agarwal ruled out of 1st test , was hit on the head off a Siraj bouncer in nets.

Another unfortunate setback to Mayank's career. Hopefully the injury is not serious and he gets back in action soon.

On the test 11 now, each such injury moves us closer to Kohli-Shastri sticking with nearly the same 11 as the WTC finals, with Vihari coming in for Gill/now Mayank. Knowing how vindictive Kohli can be, there's a fair chance to see him bench Siraj and blame him for the injuries in the squad

Apni jaagir Rcb ka praja hai Siraj. Siraj ke upar kohli ka bcci se bhi lamba haath hai.. so siraj will definitely play 3 if not 5 tests..

If that was the case, Siraj would have made his debut after 2019 WC. Forget that, even after his Australia heroics, Siraj was still NOT  Kohli's preferred choice for the Eng series at home or WTC finals. That's how much he rates him.

Yeh Dosti ( Ishant Sharma) aaj ka nahi hai bhai. 16 saal pehle yeh dono ek hi scooter main jaate the aur chhole bature khaate the. Is dosti ka keemat tum kya jaano ..

Siraj needs to be unleashed on the opponents. First Sundar and now Mayank. This is some serious hostility.

But then again, Tyagi was banished after injuring Rahul and Mayank. Instead of using him to terrorize the opponents.

What if siraj injures kohli rofl. Hahaha.

I bet they go easier on kuli.

As great as kohli is vs short ball, he can still get hurt and be beaten. He isn't the same anymore.

Kohli bats now like as if he has been hit on the head everytime he goes out to bat.

He WAS great at his peak. He is now enjoying the decline earning millions.

Lol Mayank at his worst will give same output like Pujara does these days.

He would have crunched few boundaries with the new dukes ball & could have scored 20 odd easily.

Pujara meanwhile after huffing & puffing leaving half volleys would trudge to 15 (85) & then get out.  That's his ceiling in seaming conditions these days...  More or less same on flat pitch too.

15(85) is better than 20(30).

Not in England it isn't as ball swings throughout an innings. In Australia etc the ball gets blunted so those who come in late like Pant can take advantage. Here ball keeps swinging and playing time is useless. The team can still collapse and the new person coming in will still face a ball swinging miles. So in such case scoring runs when you can of lose balls become more important as there are few chances to do so through out the innings

Difficult to watch if Siraj doesn't play. Only who has the ability to run through a team in these conditions when ball swings. No other Indian bowler really swings the ball.

If we don't pick Siraj it will be a repeat of WTC final. Low scoring but our lack of early wickets means we will lose
