• Kohli is all time highest scorer not dhawan
• In terms of s/r he ranks 34 among indian player in all time 
• In terms of avg he is at 6

2021 (season not over ) He is highest but KL has played one game less so he is second . KL beats him in avg and s/r both 

2020- KL was highest 

2019 - KL was highest scorer among indian

2018- KL rahul 

2017- Pant highest

 

till now dhawan is only at top in one season which isnt over, in that also his avg n s.r are not best . So he is far away from best

 

But all this doesnt matter coz he faiils in international t20

Dhawan is playing free flowing cricket (just smashed D Chahar) and looking to win the game rather than leaving the hitting to others. Probably better than stats padders - KL, Rohit & Kohli.

Rahul and Dhawan are the kind of folks who think the only reason everyone is playing IPL is to compete for orange cap.

 

They bat up the order, bat slowly( especially Rahul who does it deliberately) but they are clueless when it comes to finishing games.

 

IPL rewards the openers by awarding the powerplayer of the match but think it is about time they reward the folkes who are slog overs bully too because that is a much more tougher job than awarding poweplayer of the match.

Dhawan was in better form than Rohit and Kohli but does not get selected. The best opener in the world is in front of TV set and inferior players are playing.
