it wasn't selfish batting, but it did expose his limitations. that is what I was getting at. however, if these limitations are not eventually overcome a few years down the line, I would be worried then. In the modern era, one cannot become the complete batter without having extra gears - what worked for 90s-2000s folks won't fly now (at least for "top" teams).
