Which value? Ghanta value. He needs to start respecting the game & improve his game to give any value to the team.

The problem with  Pandya always has been lack of respect for anything and everything. It was not lack of talent or cricketing ability which may or may not be limited but a complete disregard for opportunities that come his way and taking people for granted. Under serious captains like Kapil Dev or Saurav Ganguly he would not have gone beyond his state teams. Because we have a captain who lacks personality and intelligence, and group of selectors who are bufoons, guys like Pandya continue to fool around the national team with their pathetic attitude.

Honestly, Austin is a quality poster, and I'm quite surprised to see such nonsense from him.

THeir was a poster (one of the best of ICF, among top best) wont name  him who said during KL bad patch said he doesnt look hungry at all. Funny how cricketers are loosing hunger acc to ppl who are yet to make a big name

Its strange how ppl cant make diff out in good-bad form, injury or some weakness being found out. The expectation that everyone shud be at their top all time is so wrong. Cricketers in their long career hardly will be 40-50 % at peak rest wud be avg , below avg or poor

If SDP enters auctions, he could create a new bid record :hmmm:

not possible in large auction, players will make record only in small auction . Large auction will not give u same highest price coz a team has so many players to buy. He can be the best in next but not overall

MI could still retain him based on bids :money:

right ?

yes they can still bid for him , but once u retain 4 player ull loose a huge chunk of purse and buying someone like hardik back will be damn tough coz he ll go very very expensive in auction. Every franchise shud retain as many indian players as possible coz top indian players will be 1st priority of every franchise

I am sure he can create bidding war but than Negi, Unadkat and pandey also did on several occasion. Reality is in 5 years since his debut his performance is ghanta, heck he dint even play consistently in those 5 years. He is bigger scam than Harshad Mehta most overhyped fake alrounder. He keep skiping icc tournaments and test cricket and scoring here and there in ipl or biletral series to keep his disciples and fan girl happy.

In IPL, he is among those rarest players to score 250 runs and take 10-15 wickets in a season. Indian player, pace bowling all rounder, power hitter and a finisher - those attributes will keep him in heavy demand. He was bad this IPL but has played a key role for MI winning IPL in 2017, '19 and '20.

His international form will have very little bearing on his value as an IPL asset.

Dnt retain pollard- 4h player will make 9cr diff, no way pollard will go for 9 cr in mega auction.............if he does then be it . If u still want him buy him back which nyways they had to pay

Current pollard is still miles better than many overrated Aussies we see in IPl.  He can bowl & can captain the side. Finish games.   Very valuable player.  MI are 100% spot on to retain him.

Its business u have to save money as well, if u can release him n buy him back at lesser cost why not............other aussie logic doesnt even come here

its about saving max money from the budget alloted . In a mega auction i doubt pollard will go at 9cr + , russell can but pollard cannot

Will KL Rahul ever enter his peak?

I mean international cricket mai not in IPL, he is already 29 years old, he should be at his best, but he still isn't showing the ruthlessness which Kohli, Sharma or even Dhoni showed.

It's definitely justified to question his output, still averages 35 in tests, odi mai ek saal pehle hi jagah fix kar paaya, t20 is the only format where he has delivered according to his hype.

I know you will now give a bhashad but it's a simple question x, why is he not performing like our senior players did at their peak of powers.?

Thing is few franchise are going after Captaincy Options & he is a lucrative option to have 3D kinda player.

Holder is another player who'll go for plenty.

28-33 is generally said to be batsman peak

and he has owned a spot in all 3 formats ...in t20 his numbers are outstanding . We al know how much time sharma took to make a mark in test and in t20 also he has been ok-ok

Rahul owns a spot in 3 format

yes he wud be but price in auction depends on 2 aspects how many franchises wants to u and how far are u preferance list. In mega auction 9 cr is a massive price..massive .............im not saying he cant go at that price but high chance he wont and thats worth a risk

In pref list players like KL, iyer, warner and other indian will be ahead of pollard. Not everyone can fetch 10 cr so high chance he wont go above 9cr.......and if he does buy him back since they want him bad . Remember its a mega auction n teams have to build whole squad so their wud be very few who ll go above 10cr among which KL will be one for sure , rest all other international indian will be fetching big price including iyer

Teams generally look for indian batting and in pref list players like KL, iyer, warner and other indian will be ahead of pollard.
