Former Test captain Kim Hughes has slammed Cricket Australia officials who kept Tim Paine in the position despite knowing he'd been subject to an integrity investigation.;Paine resigned from the captaincy on Friday as it was revealed he'd been involved in a sexting exchange with a one-time Cricket Tasmania employee in late 2017.  Cricket Tasmania say the matter only came to attention in mid-2018, after Paine had assumed the captaincy in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa that cost Steve Smith the position. Imagine if Kohli started cheating on his wife with another woman and it became public knowledge through the media - even though consensual, his post as India Test captain may not be tenable. Its the position of power and the fact that younger generations look up to you as role models.

If it was consensual, then why does he have to quit captaincy? Did the women also give up her job? Is she also being maligned in media like him?

 

I can understand his wife divorcing him, but why does he have to suffer in his professional career?

 

It's a purely marital & domestic matter, nothing to do with his job.

 

He is unfaithful but not a criminal!

 

This a lesson to all guys out there, never ever indulge in risque chats with any female, even your girlfriend. Even if it's consensual, you never know when the female might delete her part of the chats and start a campaign to damage your career & reputation!
