Saini is the one who bowls the most floaters with his barrage of half volleys..Porel has out bowled all of the India A seamers on the tour of NZ and now in this game in SA. And Avesh's pace is also not that great in redball, while being nowhere near as consistent as Porel

On plain sight he doesn't look to have strong shoulders nor did i see him make the ball rise to uncomfortable height

Deepak Chahar looking completely harmless.  Umran should have played here instead. 

Saini has got his rhythm back somehow.  He is the one that has taken full use of this A tour.  Playing all 3 games & Finally found his radar after bowling overs after overs.

They should back relatively young side. Gowtham is 33 year old. I am not even sure why CSK paid 9 crores for this guy. Now India A ticket. Even if he takes wickets it doesn't mean much. He is at the fag end of his career.

Saini is bowling as good as I have seen him bowl since 2 years.  Hitting good lengths & pace with aggression

Yeah absolute travesty that he was picked.  Even someone like Abhishek Sharma is a better bowler than this guy & his batting talent is supreme.  Selectors need to look beyong numbers & invest in potential.

Selectors are quite pragmatic ,they consider its immature on their part to send 20-21 years olds early on A tours

Saini@150 is an asset. He must maintain that to warrant a place in Indian XI.

 

Since he is a spray gun, even 140 will be cannon fodder for international batsman.

He isn't a spraygun. He just lost his rhythm due to injuries and lack of games in lockdown.

Saini never impressed in his brief International career except for his debut T20 series vs WI where he bowled thunderbolts at 150 and got everybody excited.

 

Hope he gets his mojo back.

Really hope someone like prithviraj Yarra gets a look in for a India A game, he has great potential, I said it earlier both Saurabh Kumar and gowtham are mediocre, best left arm spinners in the country after jaddu and axar is sai Kishore and then Siddharth Desai. Mavi should definitely consider himself unlucky, imagine gifting India A games to chahar who has not even played a season of first class cricket since 2011

Sanjay yadav could have been tried. Ofcourse he plays for plate division.  So have to take his stats with a pinch of salt. But he is an all rounder.  Second highest wicket taker last season. Also averaging 46 in the FC/49 in List A. Plays for SRH
