Couldn't see more than 25-30 mins. You can reduce any show like that. The piece what they wanted to sell is the novelty that works. I liked the subtle humor that you get in shows like BB/BCS. My son who watches it said it's the best live action remake of an anime so far. You're probably the wrong audience for it. I can't stand anime.

coffee_rules Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 (edited) Extending the tpopic for all TV shows beyond Netfix. @Lone Wolf Big fan of Dexter (First 7 seasons) , I was so miffed at them spoiling thge series finale and a horrible 8th season, I had not watched any of their spin-offs. Watched Dester - New Bloood and they have made amends for spoiling the 8th season, was a good 10 episodes 1 seaspn only that was released in 2021. New Blood gets good reviews and held its moments. Now watching Dexter-Resurrection. They are not as dark as the original series, but still a good watch than some Bollywood BS movies/sjows. New Blood gets good reviews and held its moments. New Blood was a mess imo and most of the Dexter fanbase didn't liked that one... The ending especially felt hurried. More importantly the Dexter's humour element was missing. I think Resurrection tied a lot of loose ends in that pilot episode (lot of plot armour involved lol). They kinda left that plot in the wind.. and wanted nothing to do with Alaska anymore. New Dexter Resurrection is friggin awesome... I won't spoil it for you but the cast is Lit in the next few episodes. It keeps getting better with each episode. 4th and 5th have been total bangers. Don't have enough time to catch up on it despite great reviews I have similar Top 2 Will give 3rd spot to JJ Abram's Lost. Most diverse and unique cast ever assembled & unmatched cinematography. I am a sucker for mystery element. Early Prison Break seasons were edge of the seat stuff. GoT and Vikings. Nothing Tops Vikings Season 3-4 in Top shelf Action though. Not even GoT.
