Claims of fake reviews going around. Here’s another manufactured  controversy.. they announce that they are coming to Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain where Bajrang dal workers are ready to protest, apparently because Ranbir said he likes to eat beef in 2011. And a response is ready made for consumption

In yet another victory over decadent and anti national Bollywood, intrepid Bajrang Dal warriors managed to stop Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhat from seeking blessings of the Almighty at Ujjain's Mahakal temple.

India, her sanskriti and sabhyata has surely been protected.

Bajrang dal at wrong place wrong time again.... Better make themselves useful in other parts of the country Where they are needed rather than stopping other Hindus from entering into Temples

So, I guess it would be too much to expect you to quote context for "renaissance". But then that would be introducing nuance. Doesn't work if you are going for a narrative. It has to be plain, simplistic and as lop sided as possible.

On this issue, it is incredibly sad. Actually its quite dangerous. But then, if beheading is on the table from one side, then increased fundamentalism on other side is inevitable. And these folks are opportunists. Perhaps you "missed" my post on fear of growing Hindu fundamentalism / Abrahamization due to fear of loss of identity / life and selective vilification by the so called liberals.

How do you know if the producers didn’t hire some goons looking like BD workers and created this ruckus? It is enough to gain eyeballs into the release

Then why do they make films with bad content?

its creativity no one knows what good or bad..............what u think is great in ur head can turn out ****

a great scene written be destroyed by bad actors

a great script  can be destroyed by directors

a great film script, shot, acted can still be destroyed by editors

Sometimes even good films just dont work coz audience has poor taste

No one does it intentionally, creativity is a such a thing.

coz such thing dont get audience in, will go to theatre just becoz someone boycotted to enter temple ??? No , Naa so why will someone else spend their money

Their marketting has already been so good that they created great buzz by trailers, teaser, promos that its set out to take a big opening

Nobody thought protesting at JNU would be good PR stunt. But Deepika did it in anyway. This temple visit was also part of the PR campaign. So, this drama can also potentially be a part of that effort. Either ways it helps both teams to make their case.
