Marquee games..

Cape Town decider against South Africa

Edgebaston final Test against England

T20 world Cup in Australia.

Won't be watching 90% of the remaining games.

P.S - Australia series will most definitely be in Feb 2023.

Cape Town: defeat; Edgbaston: Eng are crap, so it can go either way; T20 WC: semi-final defeat

So we have 20 odd T20Is (not including a T20 Asia cup) for practice and to select a team for the T20WC in November. That should be decent enough prep for the players. I'd scrap the ODI's against SA and still play T20Is in this tour now. I'm not that much invested in the test cycle this year.

Only 4 days gap between WI and SL series

It should be irrelevant.

If the BCCI could their **** together, they would be fielding completely different teams for the T20 series v WI and Test series v  SL.

They should also look at resting players for the T20 series v WI especially the third. Players like Hitman, KL and Pant.

Covid cases in India are rising exponentially.  1.5 lakh cases reported in last 24 hrs.  I doubt if Windies tour of India would go ahead as scheduled.   Same with SL tour of India.

If that trajectory continues surely  it will end the IPL in 2022 as well.

Windies & SL will come..  Though I expect if BCCI is sensible enough they would reduce the venues.  Tough to pull off bubbles in multiple cities.

WI(H): 3 ODI and 3 T20Is

SL(H): 3 T20Is

SA(H): 5 T20Is

Eng(A): 3 ODI and 3 T20Is

WI (A): 3 ODI and 3 T20Is

T20 Asia Cup

Other than England, younger players should be playing all the other series. No Dhawan, Kohli, Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi, Ashwin and even Chahal in any of these series please. More of Ruturaj, Shaw, V. Iyer, Samad, Shahrukh, Abhishek, Chahar/Bishnoi/Markande, Prasidh, Avesh, Mavi, Umran, Arshdeep

Ideally even Rohit should rest where possible.

But going by the pattern under Dravid so far, the seniors will play most of these matches to pad up their stats and then will suck in the ICC tournaments
