Beating batsmen thousand times means you are too good for that batsman. Slightly poorer ball may do the trick ie Shami needs to regress a bit in English conditions

Beating batsmen 1000 times means you have to bowl fuller.

 

Ishant used to be unlucky for YEARS.

Siraj has completely lost it..  And is at Thakur level now. 

 

If India selectors have any brain left they should start grooming Tyagi before Australia tour 2025 & maybe Umran will be ready as Shami's replacement by then. 

Prasidh in the meantime is ready & should play every test from now on.

No idea what they are doing with Tyagi.  He's being poorly handled. If he is fit, he needs to travel with the Indian team as a net bowler wherever they go and should play in A teams when they have matches. Same with Umran, Mohsin, Khaleel.

They did bowl bouncer barrage till 2021. Then I don't know what the * happened. Bounce is always key. Always. Bounce matters way more than pace

 

Bounce at 135 plus is significantly >>>>>>> pace without Bounce at 145 plus. Yes 10 k difference. 

 

Natural height helps here. Shorter bowlers will get more injured if they focus on generating consistent bounce. Taller bowlers will be a safer bet for that role. 

 

Shorter bowlers need to complement them like a seam bowler or express pacer lol. 

 

Ishant shami bumrah was a deadly combo

Steyn morkel and philtrundler was a deadly combo.

 

You need one swing trundler. Ideally a fast trundler but 130-140 swing seam is fine. 

One bounce based bowler at 135 plus

One complete bowler who can do a bit of everything ala steyn or bumrah

 

Steyn wouldn't be effective without morkel.

Now bumrah without a tall guy is left alone. 

He needs prasidh or tyagi. 

 

Simple logic.

Umran will nail these guys if he gets more accurate & once it starts reversing...  Good luck to anyone who tries to counter that.  That being said he needs to be given chances in ODIs first which he isn't being given. 

Tyagi should be along side Test team by now & a regular bowler in ODIs...  Instead of Avesh Arshdeep.

Man dint bumrah reverse like crazy in the 4th test and destroyed England. Why dint er get reverse this time? I swear the balls were dodgy?

Englund kept changing every 15 overs.

On pattas we need to be defensive. Just contain and hit them with bouncers as a surprise weapon Or yorker. Otherwise implement bouncer barrage. I don't understand what went wrong. Yes the score wasn't enough and bowlers dint get enough rest. But still. 384 is not a small target. 

Fielding dint help. 

Thakur and siraj regressing cost us. Too similar. That's where ishant was handy. Not that i want ishant but prime ishant was good.

if so many people here in this forum can see the wrong lengths of Indian pacers..Siraj just using the wobbly seam all the time..Thakur just flosting the ball..lack of bouncers..

What the Hell are the bowling coach\staff is doing..they are being paid to analyze this with fancy equipments\support etc...

better they join our forum and take suggestions from here..

TM seems to lack analysis and vision..now they cant complain lack of talent..

we have so many variety of bowlers coming up..if they cant groom them..its waste of hopes and and waste of money..

BCCI needs to check what the pace academy is doing..and how they plan to groom all these bowlers..improve their skills and work on their fitness standards..

All these upcoming bowlers..I believe just need a little bit of work and can make India a potent force..atleast in bowling..
