The Indian Pace Bowling Pool need more Bounce Bowlers ... We suffered in South Africa because we could not use bounce as a weapon against ther top 6 batters

more suited for Tests as of now.In LOIs death bowling is crucial part for specialist pacer. He isnt there yet imo. Still Good.

Tyagi,Umran and Mavi seem better option for LOIs

Prasidh is not a good T20 bowler.

But is a good ODI bowler ... with wicket taking ability at almost every stage.

This is what we need most.

And his death bowling isn't bad.

It's important that we demarcated between ODIs and T20s.

I hope they try Kartik soon after this IPL for his bounce.

Team India need to combine

Bouncy pacers

..  Prasidh

.. Tyagi

.. Avesh

with

Skiddy pacers

.. Siraj

.. Shami

.. Umran

And Bumrah can do both.

After 12 to 18 months,  Create combos like

Bouncy pitch ....

Bumrah

Prasidh

Tyagi / Umran

Slower pitch ....

Bumrah / Umran

Prasidh

Siraj / Shami

all 3 won't play together. With Chahal there 3rd pacer will need to have some batting ability.

That's why I like Mavi

Shardul as a bowler isn't good enough. Mavi is no great bat. We have better spin bowling alrounders. So prepare them for 7-8. Need to pick your best fast bowlers.

Mavi can bat at 8 and is good enough bowler.

need a decent leggie atleast and best one who can bat is Bishnoi. But even hes no. 9

Mavi can come in for Siraj but only if he is as good bowler. Team shouldn't compromise on pace bowling strength because with two new balls, spinners have become quite irrelevant in ODIs

Mavi hasn't proved his batting ability yet.

We need to play atleast 2 proper frontline quicks even in white ball cricket.

If Mavi can become the 3rd pacer cum 8th batsman in LOIs then great ... but he needs some good innings under his belt.

I think Kartik is a better batsman than Mavi and other quick bowlers.

I hope Raj Bawa continues bowling while developing as a player

If he matures with his set of ability,he can fill a huge void

Too early i know, but one can hope

6. Bawa

7. Big hitter spinner like Jaddu

8. Hangargekar

9. Bishnoi

10. Bumrah / Siraj

11. Prasidh

4 pacers + 2 spinners

This can be a good combo for ODIs after 2 years or so.

Move Bawa to 7 and Sindhu to 6 and that's also a very potent lineup. Really liked Sindhu in U19 - very underrated. calm temperament, excellent strike rotation, enough big hits. I feel he can score smoothly at near-100 SR without many risks. And then there's his bowling - he is not a 6th bowler IMO, he is a true 5th bowler who can give 7-8 overs on most days.

2 years from now, Mavi and Tyagi should also be in the mix

there's huge gap between U19 and senior cricket. Mostly likely these guys will taste failure early on in  even domestics and IPL.

They can only be monitored for now for next 2 years

Context is,if they mature as expected

I made a comment just before it

There is difference ,as we all know

What I mean is they shouldn't be drafted in main team just yet. Sure keep them in the loop and work with them at academies.

That's not always true...  Gill Shaw were good earlier on in domestics as well although standard of bowling in Ranji trophy is no way near to International heck IPl is better parameter to judge.

But if these guys show enough of their mettle in IPl then there is always something to work with.

Aussie template is a promising U19 cricketer must be ready for Int'l circuit after a couple of shield seasons or when he turns 22-23.  That's an ideal age to judge if he's good enough or not.

there are always exceptions. None of the current batch is on level of Shaw,Kohli,Yuvi etc

Yes 22-23 is right age.Infact I feel U23 WC would serve better purpose than U19. It'll seperate Kohlis from Unmukt Chands
