If Possible let Pant bat at 4 for dual attack vs spin. Lolli at 5 in case collapse happens & act as a stabilizer. Kela at 6 where he has to hit out. Jaddu/Sundar at 7. Chahar at 8. Bishnoi has to play as a attacking spin option.. The seniors will never left their comfort zone so be prepare to see the same template. But Kohli and Rahul at No.5 and No. 6 is be a good idea as teams will be vary of our depth. Also, this approach can give the top 4 a license to attack. ShoonyaSifar
Rahul Dravid in post match PC "1, 2 and 3 there is really no spot open once Rohit comes back" Praises Deepak Chahar and Shardul as bowlers who can contribute with the bat and hence will be given more opportunities over the next year. Singles out Shreyas Iyer and the middle order for not having used the opportunity Defends the spinners saying even pacers struggled to take wickets in middle overs Doesn't commit to giving Venky Iyer opportunities. Lists Hardik and Jadeja as others who have done well Expect the geriatrics to continue vs WI. The passion with which he has been defending seniors tells the whole story. He isn't willing to back the younger players as much. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Looks like non-performing seniors and trundlers who can play the odds cameo will be the flavour of Dravid's coaching stint It's probably time to stop watching cricket for the next 2 years. Maybe try and develop interest in some other sport. Edited January 24, 2022 by express bowling Suhaan and Vijy 2 Link to comment

Lone Wolf
Rohit will not single handedly wave a magic wand... Although he may do better than Hahul at the top. Sheldon Cottrell was swinging it nicely with the new ball vs England.. His left arm swing will trouble us. Rahul Dravid is in for a huge shock if he picks the same playing XI.. At least do some changes in spin department. express bowling 1 Link to comment
