The idea is to make the top 4 ODI sides play each other in a quadrangular tournament which could be styled similar to the ATP World Tour Finals and be played either every year/once every 2 years. Even in Tennis winning the year end WTF event carries 1,500 points which is 2nd only to the 4 grandslams which carries 2000 points. The idea of this tournament must be special and exclusive. Only the top 4 teams should be playing and not otherwise. The ODI format is getting killed because of bilateral series and it desperately needs an injection of fresh blood by the way of exciting tournaments. Our people either naively, or purposefully whitewash Pakistan crimes, foolishly believe that "all is well", or the aman ki asha one sided.
