The endless supply of tall, fast and hostile quick from Karnataka bred on a veggie diet. What's not to love?

Gowdas, bunts, kodavas eat a lot of meat, the region from marathwada, deccan all the way down Mysore was home to some of Bharath most exceptional empires, rural people here sturdy and tough, the terrain makes them strong, proper Indian traditional wrestling is only played in Karnataka and maha.

sarfaraz continuing his dominating form is good to see. dude has an FC avg of nearly 80

Deserves A tours eventually main side.  Pujara came into the side by making mountain of runs on those flat roads. Due to his temperament made some good runs at the international level. Sarfraz can replicate too. We will know only if we give him chance.

None in Cricket. It has been a curd rice eating breed so far. Dodda Ganesh and David Johnson only exception. Srinath started eating chicken in late career

jaiswal did well, but lots of edges and lives in both 100s this match. sarfaraz threw away his wkt, otherwise he could have dominated as usual. jaffer jnr has done well last 2 matches - pleasing on the eyes, but defense seems a bit iffy.

shahbaz had a great match. he and mulani are the next gen of ARs, although both have weaknesses.

Why did Mumbai continue batting? As if batting needed more practice. Bowling could been given more practice and an outright victory is what domestic cricket should aim for. This is 90s game to advance on first innings lead or slow batting

I agree that they should have attempted to go for an outright win. I have some reasons why they do so: (a) since first-innings lead is sufficient as per current ranking system, teams will only do bare minimum to advance to next round, (b) their bowling reserves are thin at the moment, and they potentially didn't want to risk injuries or overloading them since track was quite flat (UP's 1st innings notwithstanding), and (c) Ind culture favors batters, so this was a good opportunity for all to beef up their stats.
