I fail to understand this bruhaha about "look we are bestest", best bowling, best batting etc etc 

This all just reeks of massive inferiority complex on part of these guys. There are multiple leagues being played across the globe but it seems PSL is only one which is desperate to prove its worth.

Non-sense from an educated and erudite ( by Pakistani standards ) opinion maker Rameez Raja - again reinforces mindset - to never ever have an ounce of sympathy or good wishes for Pak.  This doh takke ka  Rameez made his personal financial fortune as an IPL commentator for more than a decade.

 

And since joining PCB as head -all he does is malign IPL, question foreigner player's commitment to their country because of IPL..etc..etc...

 

Starts with their PM Imran - he raised tens of millions of dollars because of the charity and good will of Indian film stars in the 90s...and he abuses India day in day out ...even before 2014.

 

You do these people any good and they will come to stab your back when it suits them. This has been repeated again and again ad infinitum.

 

I am struggling for hindi words here....would ehsaan faramosh be the correct set of words for such people ?

remember one thing. Pakistan doesnt have any relevance in this world figuratively and literally without india. It would be as anonymous as countries like Chad, Mauritiana, Mongolia, Laos etc.. its gdp is worse than bangladesh,it’s literacy rate is 7  perc less than india with 1/6th of indias population.. its a grey listed country in FATF with substandard country risk rating amongst banks.. these are all FACTS not me speaking with jazba or junoon..and Deepak Chahar with his IPL salary can buy Multan Sultans.. FACT

yes, it is interesting that Bangladesh has a distinctly higher GDP than pakistan - something I learnt about quite recently

Pakistan is SIGNIFICANTLY worse off ( even infact not even worth putting on the same line ) as India --- the country that it came out of.

The problem with Pakistan is short term mentality and jumping around like lunatic with one victory. The same was india in 1990s when indians were happy and used to rave about the 1992 w cup win and 1996 win every single time during discussions. India was piss poor at that time away and the only 1 test match they won away between 1986 to 2001 was against Sri Lanka in 1993. Pakistan was doing pretty well at that time till mid 90s ( though they lost a home series to zimbabwe).. how things change.. now go to twitter go anywhere the only thing pakistanis rave about is the t20 wcup win against india forgetting that they did not even reach final and toss luck was theirs in the group matches. They conveniently forget that they were thrashed in 12 other wcup matches and even in asia cup just before the 2019 w cup. This is called selective amnesia and its growing day by day as the country has nothing to look forward to in terms of economy or jobs or anything. The only other sport they were good at was hockey..  now they cant even qualify for olympics with ranking of 17 lower than scotland.. they havent even drawn a test match in Australia for 26 years forget winning. They have won 3 SENA tests in last 15 years and this wt20 sf was their first sf at any wcup since 2011. But when they talk or post here they talk like they are world beaters forgetting they were literally being pantzed by Aus two days ago..its problem of the whole country including their chairman ramiz raja and imran khan..you cant really blame the general public as they learn what they see..

their hockey is utter tripe now. a pity given the past history. india on the other hand has been amazing - I personally rate our bronze even on par with the 2 ODI WCs we have, given the strength of competition, the limited resources and prep we had, etc.
