Such things can be said about almost any team - if Russell/Cummins or DK, or Livingston, …, … What is important is to find a way to win! In some other game, the team will do something else to win (it can be a direct hit, a great catch, Rashid Khan hitting a couple of 6s, ….) For all you know GH could have a Rajasthan Royals 2008 or Rising Pune 2017 season with all players firing but usually it fizzles out.
