Not saying currently it is hunger issue but looks to be technical and he hasn't done anything great since that series. Since end of 2019 he has gone down even more. Link to comment

Serpico
Real question is can he keep it above 45 by the time he retires? All those smith vs kohli discussions will look hilarious and ridiculous in future with 15 run difference between their averages Vijy and Texan 2 Link to comment

Till he is pulling the big bucks and getting selected he has no shame. This is the Bollywood influence. Only in India he would find a place in the playing XI Under_Score 1 Link to comment

HouMac
Based on how he was looking early in the series, I really thought he would finally come clean with a big one. Well, we are down 3 tests now and he still can't get past the 20's. Every inning follows the same script - starts off looking assured and aggressive, but gets bogged down soon enough or has a brain fart (like yesterday). Just not good enough, bottom line. Limited range of strokes and limited concentration levels. Any other player in his position would have been dropped ages ago. Texan and Vijy 2 Link to comment

wanted_desi
This man ruined his own legacy. There is no one in his life to show him mirror. I mean how there could be: He is kind of the guy who wants everyone to call him King. He will be below 45 by the time he retires. Vijy 1 Link to comment
kosingh
He doesn't look bad when he's batting. Just can't concentrate for more than 20-30 minutes any more. HouMac 1 Link to comment
Frustrated
By the time he retires, his average would hv dropped down to 40 or maybe lesser. But that won't bother him one bit. He looks physically fit. (Unlike Fatman). Therefore, ad agencies will continue to shoot with him irrespective of Team Ind' performance. His PR team on SM is one of the strongest (and equally shameless). nevada 1 Link to comment
