Have you been any of the metros? Mumbai, Chennai are definitely better. Kolkata has some British era areas, Take them out and Kolkata probably trumps both Mumbai and Chennai.

Bangalore should become better once the metros become functional. Till then the city's traffic overcomes all its positives.

Hyderabad and Pune are IMO the best cities to live in atm.

Infrawise it will always be far ahead of other cities as the whole leadership of central govt resides here. Also the Metro is a big success.

But it does not even have breathable air for 2-3 months in year. So that makes it almost unlivable.

Rightly said 2-3 months, particularly October, November are very very bad.... otherwise Delhi is swarg but during 2-3 polluted months it becomes nark.... Infrastructure is the best, the diversity, the food, everything great, you can't get bored, everything is accessible. I also understand that familiarity, likeability, belongingness etc also comes from the fact that one grew up in that city..

Delhi has the best Infra in the entire country clubbed with NCR. It is still not adequate but it is the best.
