Winning against MI with just 2 OS is not easy. Samson : Has best bowling at his disposal. Good move to come at 3. Will be interesting how he solves no. 6-7 issue. Hardik. Another good attack,started great but let them off the the hook a bit. Mayank : Couldn't do much with such an attack. Though kept morale high and led from front Jadeja : Looked nervous with bat. Kl Rahul- Ye UP ko le doobega, iski to baat hi nahi karni mujhe. Jaddu - already 33 yrs old. Nothing to look here. Sanju Samson - Pehle team mai to aa jao beta. Mayank - Same as above Pant, Iyer are the only two who are looking set for captaincy, but I don't want Pant to become a predictable player after taking over captaincy, so I"ll be wary of taking that step. raki05 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also like to see an AR as captain DC and KKR are “match up” and coach driven teams, where the captains (Pant and S Iyer respectively) are usually implementing strategies dished out by the TM Samson is in his 3rd season so would have improved … Agarwal can be interesting (but there can be Kumble factor in PK) KL of course is losing favor so will have to work hard. Bhumra a smart thinking cricketer - comes up with a plan very quickly once he assesses the conditions. These types will make good captaincy material. Pant - Hope is that he may change the minsdet of the team towards aggressive play which India need most in Short format. They needed to buy a captain with the budget they had. Faf,Warner went cheap.
