He can very well sabogate this team when it matters due to injury concerns or whatever be the reasons. He still has limitations as far as death over hitting is concerned as he relies mostly on power and in that regard, he is no Russell or Pollard. He should be only picked in the team if he is willing to bowl because his overall utility is very useful. However, for a guy who abandons his team games shouldn't be given captaincy role for sure. There is simply no other option which we can term as a captaincy solution- none of Jadeja, Rahul, Pant, Iyer or Pandya. Hence you give the vice- captaincy till then to the players who has achieved more and that obviously is Bumrah compared to these guys. May Be Dc shud give shaw a go, i feel he is someone like Hardik who ll become even more focussed with responsibility. Let pant be pant , leave that mind alone n let him be the freak he is meant to.
